Test Design

The IDS-2 offers the most comprehensive diagnostic assessment available, with 30 subtests covering six domains: two Cognitive Domains and four Developmental Domains.

Developed in a unique modular framework, the IDS-2's flexible design makes it easy to personalize each testing session.

Cognitive Domains

In the IDS-2, cognitive ability is measured by both the Intelligence Domain and the Executive Functions Domain.

General Development Domains

The tests shaded in grey are not administered to all age groups. VP: Visual Processing; LM: Long-term Memory; PS: Processing Speed; AM: Auditory Short-term Memory; VSM: Visual Spatial Short-term Memory; AR: Abstract Reasoning; VR: Verbal Reasoning.

The IDS-2 measures general development within four domains: Psychomotor Skills, Social-emotional Skills, Scholastic Skills, and Motivation and Attitude.
