Research on the IDS-2 is ongoing in several countries in Europe, Brazil and the United States.
Hogrefe is supportive of researchers who wish to use their products, such as the IDS-2, in academic or professional research studies. Please see our Supporting Research page for guidance and process information.
Authors and researchers have completed studies on, and published, the IDS-2 for use with children and adolescents in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Poland, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
International adaptations are currently underway with research teams in additional countries including Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Sweden, Spain, and the United States.
All professionals participating in the standardization and research projects with the IDS-2 can access a global repository or database, of the data collected, so research can continue to be conducted and reported on the cognitive and developmental strengths and challenges of children in different parts of the world.
In this way, we can play a part to help inform future measures of ability, and influence learning programs to produce favorable outcomes in development and performance.
