About the IDS-2

The second edition of the highly successful German IDS, the new IDS-2 is a comprehensive diagnostic tool that assesses children's strengths and developmental needs across six domains, with 30 subtests covering cognitive and developmental areas. Who Should Use

Typical uses of the IDS-2 include the identification and diagnosing of intellectual disabilities and learning disorders, as well as the evaluation of cognitive and motor skills. The IDS-2 provides an understanding of a child’s emotional strengths and weaknesses, and can inform the professional as to the adolescent’s motivation and attitude.

It is designed to be used by a psychologist or a professional who has had training and/or experience in administrating cognitive or developmental assessments to children and adolescents.
